How to Burn a Torrent File
BitTorrent is a popular and fast method of downloading files. When you find the torrent you need, you can burn the associated files to a CD or a DVD with a file burning application.
Install a file burning application. Popular file burning applications include Nero, Ashampoo Burning Studio and DeepBurner(see Resources below). Ashampoo and DeepBurner are free to try.
Install a BitTorrent client. BitTorrent clients are special applications that can read and download the torrent files. UTorrent, BitTorrent and Limewire are a few of the available clients.
Install anti-virus software. Anti-virus programs will scan torrent files for viruses before they are downloaded onto your computer. Update your existing anti-virus program with current security updates.
Search for the torrent you need. You can use a Torrent directory, such as Torrentreactor.net, or a search engine. General search engines will return a broad range of results while BitTorrent search engines, like Torrentscan, only return results from torrent sites (see Resources below).
Click on the torrent to download the file to your computer. Save it to a location that is easily accessible.
Open your torrent. Double click the file to open it in your torrent client. Choose a location where the program will save the downloaded file. Click ‘ok’ or press Enter for the application to begin the download.
Wait for the application to finish downloading the file.
Open your file burning application. Use the file menu to locate the folder containing your file. Open the folder and double click on your file to add it to your play list.
Place a blank CD or DVD in the appropriate drive. Click the burn button to burn your file to the disk.

Tip:
If your computer has a built-in DVD or CD drive, then it will have preloaded software that is capable of burning files, like Windows Media Player or Realplayer.
Warning:
It is illegal to copy applications without a license.
