How to Download Free Movies
Is there a movie you have been dying to see but are on a tight budget? Why not download it free? The benefits of the Internet are many and being able to download movies for free is just one of them. Many sites either offer free movie downloads or they offer them at very low prices. Some of these are classic movies that can now be circulated freely in the public domain. It may be easy to find recent movies on torrent sites but you must keep in mind that it is illegal to download or copy movies without a license. There are stiff penalties for anyone caught in the act.
Visit a website offering free movie downloads, such as The Movie Download and EZTakes (see Resources below). Be aware that a majority of free movie websites stream movies for users to watch online but do not provide a download option.
Sign up for membership. Some websites offer free membership while others, like The Movie Download, charge monthly or yearly access fees with free and unlimited downloads (see Resources below).
Search for a movie. If you have a particular movie in mind, the alphabetical listing or the search box are quick methods of finding it. If you just want to select a movie from a certain theme then the categorical listing would be ideal.
Choose a movie format based on your viewing medim. Some movie websites make movies available in different formats. For instance, EZTakes provides movies in Divx, DVD, iPod and PDA formats.
Consider installing a download manager. These programs perform a variety of functions while managing downloads, including downloading several files simultaneously, increasing download speeds and resuming broken or paused downloads. Some movie websites, such as EZTakes, include download programs that you will need to install prior to downloading your movie. Download your movie. Click on the link to download and select a destination folder to store the files.
Tip:
You can watch free movies online. Some sites stream If you cannot find the movie you want on movie download sites, you may be able to watch it online at sites like Hulu and Fancast.
